Tooth Crowning.

Dental crowns are artificial caps to your teeth which can help preserve them or improve their appearance. This can help repair physical damage, cosmetic issues, or act as a pre-emptive measure for natural tooth-loss. Applying a crown is a straightforward procedure that helps your teeth function as they should.

Dental crowns are professionally-crafted recreations of your teeth and make up three quarters of your tooth’s surface area. While crown work may be intimidating, our team are happy to work with you to across a series of consultations to ensure that you are fully prepared for the procedure and that your bespoke crown is constructed to the highest possible standards.

Bridge Work.

A dental bridge uses a pontic – or false tooth – to fill a gap in your teeth. This is a flexible, potentially non-invasive solution that lets you add more than one ‘bridging’ prosthetic at a time, to help restore your smile and confidence.

They are usually made from porcelain to create a natural look. These are straightforward to deliver and can help renew your confidence and facial structure and allow you to eat and chew without pain or adjustment. Bridges are also extremely useful to prevent your teeth gradually drifting out of place, making them critical if orthodontics are important to you.

There are four main types of dental bridges:

This usually involves a false tooth which is held in place by dental crowns that have been cemented onto each of the abutment teeth.

In this case, the false tooth is held in place by a dental crown which is cemented to only one neighbouring tooth. This is a great option for people who have few natural teeth.

This bridge connects between two natural teeth on either side of the gap caused by the missing tooth or teeth.

This is where dental implants are used instead of crowns – it is these implants which hold the bridge in place.
