Dr Catarina Machado has over 18 years of experience working as a General Dental Practitioner in London. During this time, she has gained extensive knowledge in all areas of general dentistry, always prioritising patient well-being with a friendly and approachable attitude.
Throughout her career, she has developed a particular interest in prosthodontics (crowns, bridges, removable dentures) and aesthetic restorative dentistry. To deepen her expertise, she has completed numerous courses at LonDEC, King’s College London. Most recently, she completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry at the Fresh Dental Institute, under Monik Vasant, where she updated her knowledge on the latest techniques for tooth restoration with aesthetic results, including teeth whitening, composite bonding, porcelain crowns, veneers, onlays, and inlays.
Dr Machado also provides treatments for snoring and mild sleep apnoea, bruxism, simple extractions, root canal treatment (depending on complexity), periodontal treatment (depending on stage), and airflow cleanings.
She is a native speaker of both English and Portuguese and is also fluent in Spanish.
Outside of work, Catarina enjoys exploring the parks of South London with her young family and has a passion for travel.
